Apple Marina Bay Sands is the first floating Apple store. Apple opens this branch at Marina bay sands of Singapore.It is the first Apple store to have an Underwater boardroom.It’s a iconic spherical structure it’s made of full glass This foam is sitting and floating right on water.
This store is opened on 11th September.Queues formed hours before the dome opened at 10 a.m.
This glass dome comprises of 114 pieces of glass supported by only just 10 narrow vertical mullions for structural connection.There is oculus at top of the dome.The 360 degree view of Singapore can see here is the speciality of this store.
There are 10 figures Trees along the perimeter .The fact about these trees is they are flown from China to Singapore and then acclimated to adopt to Singapore‘s weather.Singapore is known as a garden city also, so these trees are bringing that elements into this store.
One long escalator ride about 50 seconds to reach the top.There is a lift from B2 to 1 and to the Board room too.B1 which is the board room which is only by invitation usually people are not allowed The oculus glows there, let’s the sunlight just come straight in that blind there.The giant screen appears there is called as video wall. There was a time limit of 15 to 20 minutes inside the store.
